Lake House Getaway

Great house for family. Very spacious .

We had an excellent time at this home over Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and brought fishing gear so did some fishing as well. Our group had kids ranging from 12 to 21, and this home allowed for spaces for everyone to hang out and have fun — lots of ping pong and pool games. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed from sheet pans to strainers and can openers and plenty of plates and mugs and everything else we needed or wanted. We hiked and mountain biked at Lake Norman State Park. The home was was clean and comfortable for our group.

We had a large family with all age groups and the house had amenities for all of us. The dock area is large enough to safely hang out on. The boat docking was easy. The decks are large enough for family chilling out. We had a rainy day so the game rooms were appreciated.Plenty of kitchen supplies.The only criticism would be the outside walkway could use a railing, make it easier for the very young and old.I thank the owners for their above and beyond help for a UPS problem we had.

Great stay and nice home

This was my first VRBO stay and it was a great experience. The house was right on the water with a dock which everyone loved especially the kids. They loved using the kayaks!!! The house was set up to cook which was great. We cooked lunch and dinner. The house was big and our family had a great weekend!!! The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with!!
